From May 5 to May 7, 2023, the Central Asian Regional Glaciological Center (CARGC) conducted a joint training expedition for scientists from the Center for the Study of Glaciers of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan (CIL NAST). The head of the Department of monitoring of glaciers, cryosphere, glaciology and GIS technology Kabutov Khusrav Kurbondzhonovich and senior researcher of CILNANT Navruzshoev Khofiz Dovutshoevich were present. Such an event was held on the basis of a memorandum of understanding and cooperation signed on March 17, 2023 in Tashkent as part of the Green Central Asia Regional Initiative with the support of GIZ (German Society for International Cooperation), as well as in accordance with paragraphs 2.4, 2.5 of the Calendar of the work plan of the Agreement on Public Procurement of Services No. 48 dated 02/07/2023 with the CS MNVO RK. The training was carried out by the research staff of the CARGC Kapitsa V.P. and Kasatkin N.E.
